Usually I do not mess with sending my virtual instruments through the SSL XDESK when I am song writing, but today I decided to and just by running the sounds through individual channels on the mixer, it instantly made me hear these sounds differently. Therefore, it made me use them to paint my canvas in a whole different way. And the added benifit is that I am already that much closer to doing my mixdown with the SSL XDESK in the mix.
